This is a super easy refreshing smoothie I like to start the day with!
Cool Cucumber Smoothie

- 1 Cucumber
- ¼ cup Yogurt or Whey
- 1 Small Head Green Lettuce
- 1 T Fresh Ginger, peeled & chopped
- ¼ Cup Golden Beets (peeled & chopped)
- ¼ Avocado
- 10 Drops Stevia

Sounds very refreshing and healthy! What are golden beets? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of them.
Hi Stephanie! My coop carries Golden Beets sometimes–when they are in season/less expensive I go for them over the red. They are mild & sweet & usually a deep rich yellow inside. A great post on them here:
